he mission of the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases is to support research into the causes, treatment, and prevention of arthritis and musculoskeletal and skin diseases; the training of basic and clinical scientists to carry out this research; and the dissemination of information on research progress in these diseases.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is a non-regulatory agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce. As the national metrology institute for the U.S., NIST's mission is to promote U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness by advancing measurement science, standards and technology in ways that enhance economic security and improve our quality of life. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) supports biomedical research, contributes to biomedical knowledge by conducting research in its intramural laboratories, fosters the training of biomedical researchers both in its own laboratories and extramurally, and facilitates the sharing and application of new biomedical information. The Master of Science in Law program at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law is designed to arm STEM students and professionals with the tools they need to succeed in the innovation economy. The unique MSL curriculum centers at the intersection of law, business, and technology, with specific focus areas of intellectual property and patent design, business law and entrepreneurship, regulatory analysis and strategy, and skills development. Students can complete the full-time program in nine months, or the part-time program (via either the residential or online format) in two to four years.
